Get Started with Asset

This page is intended to help new users login and become familiar with the Asset which is used for ACGI projects.

Limited Asset Licenses

  • Not all users in your organization will have access to Asset.
  • Asset users should be your organization’s Project Manager (point of contact for ACGI), a staff member with ability to approve budget/scope change, and one other critical SME.

First Time Access

  • Receive the invitation email and click Set my password
    • Your ACGI project team will submit a request to have you set up on Wiki and/or Asset.  Look for an email directing you to set your password.
    • Valid for 7 days
      • Your email invitation is only valid for 7 days. After that you will need to make a request through your ACGI project team to request a new invitation.
    • Check Spam Folder
      • If you do not see your invitation email, check your spam or junk folder. You may need to add @Atlassian as a trusted sender.
  • In the Password field enter the password you will use when logging into Asset
    • REMEMBER this password, you will need to reset your password if you forget.
  • Select your language preference.
  • Choose a profile picture.
    • Browse for an image to use as your profile picture, then resize the area that will appear for your profile picture.
    • You can select a stock avatar; however, our best practice is to snap a selfie and browse to select your selfie.
    • Click Next to confirm your profile picture choice.
  • You have successfully changed your password when you see the question “What would you like to do now?”

Profile Updates

  • Update your profile at your discretion; however, we recommend keeping your contact information current in the event we need to contact you relating to a project or ticket.
  • From the main menu bar, select “Teams”
  • Click “Search people and teams”
  • Type in your name and click on your name in the search results
  • Click Manage Account
  • Edit/update information for accuracy: Full Name, Email, Phone and Company

Accessing Asset (SOW, Task, Prioritization of Work, etc.)

Asset is the space where you will create and manage tickets through the workflow to Resolved or Closed status.

Steps to Access Asset

  • Login using your username and password (see Unable to Access instructions below)
  • If you are not taken to Asset by default, use the men icon, in the upper left corner, and select ASSET.

Accessing Project Page (Documented Policies & Procedures, Agendas, Meeting Notes, etc.)

Your project space will have pages needed by your project team for Scope of Work (SOW), Implementation and your organization’s specific policies and procedures.

Unable to Access Asset

  • Enter your email and click “Send Recovery link”
  • Look for a message from jira@acgisoftware.com
  • Open email and click Reset my password and follow prompts to reset your password.
